In the 1950’s the “Latin” was a popular center city Philadelphia nightclub located on Walnut Street. In 1960, the owners decided to move their operation to Cherry Hill, New Jersey and the the “Latin Casino” was born. A premier entertainment nightclub, the Latin Casino featured top entertainment acts and flourished until the mid 1970s. What was your favorite memory of the Latin Casino? I remember as a kid, I went with my parents to see All Green @ The Latin Casino.
I miss this club. It was fantastic. I saw a lot of stars there.
